Information about our Program
Eligibility
We started the Massachusetts Microelectronics Internship Program (MMIP) to help students in MA connect with microelectronics companies in the region. So far we have had more than 300 students connect with the program and we are now expanding to not only include Massachusetts but also the entire Northeast student community. We are looking forward to working with you in this new edition of the Northeast Microelectronics Internship Program (NMIP).
We know that learning is easier when you have an excellent hands-on learning experience. Our partner companies are passionate about working with you. In addition, company visits provide fantastic opportunities for interns to have a broader understanding of the entire microelectronics ecosystem.
Professor Tomás Palacios from MIT serves as Faculty Director of the Northeast Microelectronics Internship Program (previously known as the Massachusetts Microelectronics Internship Program, MMIP) while Preetha Kingsview, Program Coordinator manages the program. We work closely with the Northeast microelectronics ecosystem to make this internship program an amazing experience. Whether you are a student interested in applying for internships, or a company excited to join our wide range of supporters who hire interns, feel free to reach out to us directly here.
