As part of Microsystems Technology Laboratories Northeast Microelectronics Intern/Externship Program, I’ve had the honor to spend three days deep diving into microelectronics career paths, fundamental concepts for technician, equipment, and process engineering roles in microelectronics with an amazing group of students from Massachusetts Bay Community College Northshore Technical Community College (NTCC) (NTCC) Springfield Technical Community College University of Massachusetts Amherst University of Massachusetts Lowell UNIVERISTY OF RHODE ISLAND Bunker Hill Community College Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Massachusetts Institute of Technology at NY CREATES and GlobalFoundries, Malta NY. I’m honored for the immense NEMC hub from Tomas Palacios Kelly Johnson and Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, which led to a multi-hub collaboration with Northeast Regional Defense Technology Hub (NORDTECH)
under the leadership of Robert Geer, Tara McCaughey, Richard Bolster, MBA, PMP. Capri O’Hara and I had the pleasure to work together, and we hope for more in the coming years. Read more here.
